Ok.....would like to sell a vehicle or two here.....the first four our my personal cars, which means that they have been worked on, improved, repaired, updated, psycically healed .......like these are major road warriors. | 1985 Vanagon - 7-passenger, no rust anywhere on body....came from California desert....only one small dent over left rear fender.....a very virgin body. Has been configured as a diesel before, can be again. Currently has a running but blown-up 1900 waterboxer engine and an '82 Diesel Vanagon 4-speed trans and shift linakge. Will sell body only.......like a roller...steers, brakes, tows, etc. but no trans or engine starting in the $ 995.00 area....and going up as parts for it ( however you may want it configured ) get added on. Upper end of the scale is $2,500 and with that you get a great air-cooled 4-speed trans, Diesel Engine Mounting Set if that's what you need etc. More info when time permits. | 1982 'Supervan' Read all about it elsewhere on the site here.....price range.....body with modified 5-speed trans and linkage.....two fuel tanks.....lots and lots of the improvements mentioned ......maybe 5 grand ....say $ 4,955....be a great turbo diesel vanagon....you just add the engine. Also.....same, but with all the parts to build up a 1900 TDI engine using 86 Jetta mechanical fuel injection pump....a great turbo, new clutch.....lots of good yummy turbo diesel stuff.......say $ 6,995 for all that...without the MBZ alloy wheels or the roof box.......but maybe not the heated leather Audi driver's seat. | 1988 VOLVO Turbo 740 Sedan - "Inga" - fantastic car....goes 60 in 2nd, 80 in 3rd, and is going about 85 at only 3,000 rpm in top gear...and it can go up to 6,000 rpm...a fantastic safe cruiser, even without the turbo ! | 1992 Mazda Miata, red, looks great ! ..new paint...was repaired, not mine - close friend's - runs perfectly, has superb engine power, only 54K original miles. Salvage title ....but runs and looks just perfect.....has one minor clitch with the turn signal switch....need to look into it. . . .( can't use left turn sig. if in hi-beams - lever hits plastic for some reason ) ...lots of Miatas this year are for sale in the $ 5,600 range......this fine machine now available for - $ 4,600. - Great fling car ! | |
