You have your car in a shop for a repair, and they told you it'd
be 400 bucks to make it run again, and you said fine, go ahead,
and they did the work, and then they called back and said, "
Well, there's this other thing too, and it'll be another 300 dollars.
" . . .. and you sorta grit your teeth and say, well, all
right, that's a lot of money, but go ahead. Then they call back
with another story and want even more money and your car is still
not running and you wonder if they are competent and you have
no one to turn to . . . . . to find out what is really going on,
or if the shop is competent and honest. . . . you get the picture.
That's where I come in, to find out what the facts are and get
things back on track, negotiate a deal if needed . . . just get
to the bottom of what is wrong and who missed the boat on a correct
diagnosis and repair, etc. You hire me as your agent. You must
be fully honest with me. Figure on 60 bucks an hour, with fifty
dollars minimum. By phone or in person for some situations. I
have done it many times, and it can be very hard work !
